What hoodler is

hoodler is a social network where a wallet is the identity. It reads public data from Robinhood Chain to work out what an address holds, and uses that to decide which communities that address can take part in. Reading the site is open to everyone. Taking part requires connecting a wallet.

What hoodler is not

We are not a broker, an exchange, a custodian or an investment adviser. We never hold your assets, never route an order, never take a fee on a transfer and never have permission to move anything you own. There is no contract of ours standing between you and your wallet.

Nothing on this site is financial advice. Prices shown are informational, come from Robinhood's public API, and can be wrong, late or missing. Do not make a decision to buy or sell based on a number you read here.

Stock Tokens

A Stock Token gives economic exposure to the price of a security. It confers no legal or ownership right in the underlying company: no shareholder vote, no dividend, no meeting, no claim on assets. Where this site shows community opinion, it is the opinion of verified token holders and is never a shareholder vote. Every poll publishes its methodology alongside its result.

hoodler is not affiliated with, endorsed by or partnered with Robinhood, or with any company whose ticker appears on this site. Company names and marks belong to their owners and are used to identify the asset, nothing more.

Gifts

A gift is a transfer from your wallet to another wallet, signed by you, on chain. We prepare the message and read the result. We never take custody, never escrow and never charge for it. The person receiving a gift signs nothing — and you should treat any site that asks you to approve a transaction in order to receive something as an attempt to rob you.

A transfer on chain is final. We cannot reverse one, recover one sent to the wrong address, or recover one you were persuaded to send. Check the address.

Your account and your conduct

You are responsible for your wallet and its keys. We will never ask for a private key or a seed phrase, and anyone who does is not us. Signing in costs no gas and approves nothing; it is a message signature.

Do not use hoodler to impersonate someone, to publish content that is illegal where you are, to distribute malware or phishing links, to harass people, or to attack the service. We can remove content and suspend an account for those reasons. We cannot remove you from a position you actually hold, because that is the chain's statement, not ours.

Availability and liability

The service is provided as it is. Chains stall, public APIs rate-limit, and hosts go down. We do not promise uninterrupted availability, and we are not liable for losses arising from your own transactions, from a third party, or from the price of anything moving.

Changes

If these terms change in a way you would want to know about, the version above changes with them and you are asked to agree again the next time you sign in. We do not treat an old agreement as consent to new text.
